Serra. La Mormaire
Although Serra employs a sculptural vocabulary in La Mormaire which hie had developed for a different site, staggered slabs were used for instance in his instalation The Hours of the Day (1990) at the Kunsthaus Zürich, it would be erroneous to speak of a repetition. Instead one should call this practise (as one would in the case of a language), a use of related terms in an entirely different context.
